Founded in 1995, QSM Europe is a company that has obtained its position as specialized Software Process Improvement centre, notably in the areas of software metrics and risk management.

QSM Europe has deep knowledge and wide experience in this area and markets methods and products to support this knowledge and experience. QSM Europe is the European representative of the US software consultancy company Quantitative Software Management (QSM), founded in 1978.

QSM has developed a unique and tested toolsuite for software managers: Software LIfecycle Management (SLIM) combined with one of the largest databases with data about current-day software development projects. This database has trendlines of almost 8000 delivered projects from all over the world. Together with the tools this database enable managers to make very reliable prior estimates of project statistics with constraints on cost, duration, reliability at delivery time, team size, risk, etc. With these tools it is easy to track projects and keep control. Experience shows that use of the tools stimulate increases in productivity, quality and reduction of costs for new applications as well as enhancements.
